Help clean up the Earth!

National Cleanup Day Party & Picnic — Saturday, September 19^th, 2026

In partnership with Sustainable Resilient Longmont, we will be kicking off the cup with a greenway cleanup, recycling education, and celebration picnic.

Cleanup 9AM - 11AM at the Left Hand Creek Greenway. Registration not required to attend, but for up-to date information register here.

Kick-off / Appreciation Picnic to follow the clean up at Dickens Farm Nature Area, 11:30-1:30 PM. Games, face painting, food, and community fun! Join us to celebrate and kick-off this fun competition :)

Week 1: Recycling — September 19^th – 26^th

Cleanup Crew: Monday, September 21^st, 5:30-6:30PM @ Martin St and Waste Diversion Center* learn more. Registration not required to attend.

After clean up hang @ Drifters, 624 Main St. (Karaoke opportunity starting at 7pm)

Green Girl Recycling Tour: Friday, September 25^th, 10AM – 11AM learn more. Registration not required to attend.

Week 2: Zero Waste — September 27^th – October 3^rd

Boulder County Recycling Center Tour: Tuesday, September 29^th, 10AM – 11:30AM. Spots are limited. Registration is required..

Cleanup Crew: Thursday, October 1^st, 5:30-6:30PM @ Sugar Mill Road and N 119^th St* learn more. Registration not required to attend.

After clean up hang @ Summit Tacos, 237 Collyer St.

Historic Trash Walk led by Elizabeth Beaudoin: Friday, October 2^nd, 11AM. learn more. Registration not required to attend.

Meet @ Budget Home Supply parking lot*. Learn about the history of the Old Flour Mill, what happens when preservation is not prioritized, and what is to come in the future of this location.

Week 3: Compost — October 4^th – 11^th

After clean up hang @ Drifters, 624 Main St. (Karaoke opportunity starting at 7pm)

A1 Organics Tour: Tuesday, October 6^th, 11AM – 3PM. Spots are limited. Registration is required.. Transportation is provided.

Week 4: Water — October 12^th – 19^th

Front Range Landfill Tour: Monday, October 12^th, 11AM – 12PM. Meet us at the dump to tour what happens to our trash! learn more. Registration not required to attend.

Cleanup Crew: Wednesday, October 14^th, 5:30-630PM @ Sugar Mill Road and N 119^th St* learn more. Registration not required to attend.

After clean up hang @ Bricks on Main, 471 Main St.

Community Celebration: October 18^th, 4:30PM - 7PM. Join us for a time of celebration! Everyone who participates in the cup will receive a prize. Raffle items will be given out throughout the evening together. Overall category winners will also win an award! Come cheer on the team who wins the annual Longmont Cleanup Cup trophy! Food, trash art, face painting, games, prizes, raffle, and so much joy! Join us :)
